We're excited to kick off SOL-HER 9 INNOVATION with our special guest, Dr. Martha Saladino. Dr. Saladino is a distinguished S.T.E.M.-her with a rich academic journey. She earned her bachelor's degree in physics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), followed by a joint master's in astrophysics from universities in Austria, Italy, and Germany. She completed her PhD in astrophysics at Radboud University in the Netherlands, collaborating with the University of Leiden.

Dr. Saladino's career includes impactful outreach initiatives, notably "She Speaks Science," aimed at engaging girls in STEAM through storytelling. Before joining the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) as an Astrophysicist and Education & Outreach Scientist, she worked as a Technical Writer and Project Manager at Google.
