Our Mission

Family is the most important unit of our social fabric. When we assure families are strong and healthy, we can affect real change.

~Tiffany Rachann, Head Imaginarian

Imagiread started off in 2011 as a multi-dimensional family literacy platform that implored families to take stock in literacy together one book and one event at a time. Over the years, the company has grown exponentially and with a new found mission and vision. That mission has been to create and celebrate diverse reading experiences with today’s family in mind. How we do it is simple. We put family and family values at the core of our programming and we guarantee a quality experience. Family is important and socially responsible, culturally appropriate narratives of the family offer families rich opportunities to learn and grow together.

Since our inception, Imagiread has connected thousands of families to valuable resources, materials, and tools that support an intentional family literacy investment. Our accomplishments have been recognized by community organizations and schools alike. Some of those organizations are the Houston Public Library, the Harris County Public Library, Pearland Public Library,  the Harris County Department of Education, Encourage Me I’m Young, After the Cut Mentoring, Premier Baby Planning, the Childcare Council of Greater Houston, Star of Hope and many more.
